Philips SpeechLive uses Microsoft Azure as a hosting partner for dictations. Microsoft Azure maintains the strictest ISO security standards and processes to ensure the highest level of data security and protection.

*Security
Data transfer: All sound files sent to our speech-to-text (STT) service are transmitted extremely securely over a special encrypted channel. We use https for both client to server and server to server communication. Transcripts are sent via a secure SignalR https connection.
File processing: The speech recognition engine uses servers with the highest security standards in the US and EU.
Data storage: If you use the desktop or mobile app for our speech-to-text (STT) service, no audio or text is stored on our servers. The sound and text files simply pass through our servers. If you use the web version, both the audio and the transcription are temporarily saved during speech recognition and then automatically deleted. The files are stored encrypted in your SpeechLive account, only accessible to you and/or your organization.
